As sector specialists, the team are experts at driving engagement by designing and bringing to life healthcare communications programs that are informed by insight and data-led strategy. We are inspired by developing communications that improve access and uptake of therapeutic and diagnostic innovations and approaches, linked directly to health outcomes.


We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who wants to join a thriving, growing team. This role in our team is the engine on the accounts. It requires strong project management skills. Being able to work up and down, seeking input from those more experienced and effectively delegating and nurturing those less experienced is important.


A passion for healthcare and desire to go the extra mile to make a difference is a must. You will have the opportunity to work on small or large accounts, as well as in blended teams working with different practices, global offices or other Omnicom agencies. No day is the same and we always make sure you are stretched and supported in equal measure.


Our one-team approach prevents silos developing and helps us ensure workloads are spread across the team, giving our team members a breadth of experience and opportunities to work with and learn from lots of different people. We work hard to take a person-oriented approach. We want everyone to get up in the morning feeling excited about the work they are doing.


The work is very varied which gives plenty of opportunity to develop skills and follow your passions. It is about 80% global and includes:

  • Market preparation including disease awareness and market shaping
  • Media and platform outreach around key product milestones
  • Corporate positioning and executive profiling
  • Patient/advocacy communications ensuring the patient voice is heard where it counts
  • Building value arguments and communicating them to payors and providers
  • Direct to physician brand marketing communications
  • Internal communications including change management


We work across pharma with major brands, rare disease/biotech, and health tech covering a range of great disease area where we are part of shaping the change in healthcare: Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart Failure, HCV, PKD Deficiency, Covid-19, Biosimilars, Generics, Oncology, Obesity, Endoscopy, Radiology, Menopause to name but a few.

Areas of particular need at the moment, but subject to change, include:

  • Oncology (melanoma) where we are working to help ensure UK physicians make the best treatment choices and that patients are well managed by the clinical team so that they get the full benefit of the treatment they are on with minimum side effects
  • The exciting world of biosimilars where we are working at the global level to shape corporate positioning, and launching new treatments that can expand treatment options to patients and increase access at a time when health budgets are under increasing strain
  • Chronic kidney disease, where we are shaping improvements in diagnosis, tracking and treatment for patients with CKD globally to reduce the risk of having to go on dialysis or receive a transplant or die from related heart event
  • Heart failure, another growing disease, where we are working to help ensure patients receive the best care after a heart failure event which puts them in hospital to reduce the risk of a downward spiral of hospitalisation and shortened life

About you:

  • A scientific background is desirable, especially for working in oncology, but not essential.
  • Attention to detail is important. As is an ability to work collaboratively in teams and to be creative in the broadest sense of the word, from working with our design and social teams to develop impactful assets to thinking laterally to solve problems for clients, or to help teams find a way to get around challenges.
  • Experience in a similar global communications agency is an advantage for this role
