Our Consumer Tech team sits within our Consumer and Brand Marketing practice. We partner with top tier tech brands to develop and activate meaningful brand campaigns, new product launches, thought leadership, media and influencer campaigns, and much more.


Your role will be a mix of UK and international hub activation for two of our largest consumer tech clients.   As account Director you will support the senior team in driving forward these key accounts. This includes responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with clients and managing teams to ensure delivery of activity to a consistently high standard. 


Beyond client work, you will be accountable for supporting best practice and high standards across the core skills within wider team including copy writing, idea generation and brainstorming, supplier liaison, talent and influencer programmes, proposal development and media strategies.


You’ll spearhead creative sessions and work with the team and creative director to bring new ideas and concepts to your clients. You’ll attend workshops, exhibitions and openings to culturally expand your knowledge to inspire new routes to media and influencers. You will also coach and lead the team – along with your AD peer group – to be ambassadors across the agency and network.


Finally, you’ll support on capacity planning, new business and organic growth across your clients, being a central part of the team’s growth and reputation internally and externally.


  • Ensure all UK PR activity tells the brands story and explains the main product USPs to our key target audiences across the lifestyle and tech sphere
  • Provide UK input for the yearly PR activation plans for Europe, working with the wider UK team to ensure media knowledge and local expertise is reflected in plans
  • Actively explore and recommend new way to tackle ‘always on’ across the UK. This often requires connecting abstract content to overall brand strategy to shape and place stories.
  • Identify competitor and local market trends which may have an impact on the brand.
  • Cultivate and foster new and existing media relationships allowing the brand to tell the stories that showcase their key products and drive consideration.
  • Advise and coach junior employees to support an always on press office, help advise on retailer media issues, trackers on stories/launches and help ensure all markets deliver quality coverage.
  • Work with the EMEA lead and wider UK team to ensure 100% client satisfaction, this could include: manage key day-to-day operations, stories in development, product / budget reconciliation, and quarterly wrap ups
  • Responsible for pulling together UK specific budgets for project-based activity
  • working with the team to identify and propose new trends and build out global ideas to ensure they resonate for the 36 key markets
