Our 25 technology sector specialists live and breathe the trends and issues around cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, IoT, Fintech, hardware, SaaS, telecoms, IT consulting, unified communications, cloud computing and more. While that sounds like a long, potentially scary, list what it really means is that we love taking what seem like dry, technical topics, figuring out why they matter and making them easy to understand by non-technical audiences.

Our portfolio varies from some of the world’s largest technology brands to up and coming industry challengers. Whether it’s exploring the role of artificial intelligence in modelling the future of healthcare, or finding creative ways to talk about the inner workings of elevators, or working with an Oscar-winning cinematographer to raise awareness of the part data storage plays in creating art, our days are always different, but rarely ever dull.

With technology rapidly becoming an inextricable part of every industry, our work spans multiple sectors, from healthcare, financial services, automotive, marketing, entertainment and even law. This variety, along with our belief that the best communications programmes are integrated, mean our team members have the chance to contribute to, and learn from, a whole host of people and practices.

As a team, we believe strongly that we are a sum of all our parts – we pride ourselves on a broad spectrum of talents, experiences and expertise which all come together to tackle complex tasks and deliver outstanding results. We highly value positivity and community – we are always there for each other, during the good times and especially during the bad ones.

Plus, as you might expect from a Tech team, we love innovation – we take every chance to learn new and interesting ways to view the world, approach its challenges and tell great stories.

As an Associate Director in the Technology Practice, you will be responsible for providing strategic counsel to clients, actively managing client relationships, ensuring the teams are delivering to the highest standards and identifying opportunities for organic growth. You will play an active part in the Tech management team, with shared responsibility for the effective financial and commercial running of the practice, team resourcing, line management and the overall management of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and inspiring account teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Nurturing and mentoring junior talent to build a highly engaged and productive team. Delivering continuous feedback; taking every opportunity to be inclusive, providing guidance, counsel and support to colleagues.
  • Leading creative, strategic and innovative technology communications programmes that address clients’ needs and that build FH’s reputation as a dynamic, cutting edge consultancy in this space.
  • Be available to bring a fresh perspective to clients across the other FH practices contributing creative strategies and seeking opportunities for technology to add value.
  • Ensuring the profitability of your accounts through careful fiscal management. Actively managing team capacity, utilization and define scopes of work and budgets for new projects.
  • Building a strong network of external and internal contacts in the relevant sectors that lead to advocacy and new business referrals.
  • Leading strategic marketing initiatives that build the reputation of FH’s Technology expertise within the FH network and external marketplace.

If you are eligible to work in the UK and have experience in the above, we'd love to hear from you!
