This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Designer to make their mark in our busy, friendly creative studio. We are in need of a tenacious, enthusiastic and uber-creative individual who is willing to roll their sleeves up, get stuck in and quickly become an integral part of our team.

 

A major focus of this role will be working on one of our main health technology accounts, being involved in a variety of projects from campaigns, social media, layout & information design and film/animation.

 

You’ll slot nicely into a studio of 20 individuals (the wider business is about

200 people). Our team is made up of designers, film makers, producers, strategists, project managers and production and we’re usually situated next to the Tate Modern in a great office on London’s vibrant South Bank.

 

As 2020 finished and the challenges of COVID continue, the whole business has cemented a productive and collaborative way of virtual working as we all 'work from home'. As we expect this way of working to continue into 2021, it's important that you display the skills needed for successful remote working; clear communication skills, being organised and able to structure your time, able to stay focussed on the job in hand and to have a space at home where you can work comfortably.

 

Who you are?

 

You are a brilliant designer with good agency training looking for a brand new challenge. You’ll have a rich and varied skill set but you’ll have gained good experience in idea generation, creating clear and compelling design based on our client’s brand guidelines, visual identity and campaign design, video storyboarding, layout and information design.

You are perhaps a designer with great interest and understanding of the social media journey and how to make the tools work to increase brand awareness and connectivity between brand and audience.

This role will require you to think conceptually, to bring ideas to the table and turn strategy and insight into compelling creativity. You will also be a stickler for detail and the craft of design, you’ll love grid, typography, hierarchy, information design, using illustration, photography and video to bring information to life and bringing our clients’ brands to life across all channels. 

 

The finer detail

 

• You have a strong visual/graphic design background

• Experience of working in a busy design or integrated studio environment

• A stunning folio with a good range of work, all with rationale and the evidence of the process behind them

• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC. Experience in Cinema 4D and After Effects would be an advantage 

• Illustration and/or videography skills would be a huge plus

• You love collaborating and participating in content ideation with our social team and other internal practices

• Always up-to-date with the evolving digital specs and outputs

• You have a strong visual/graphic design background with:The ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating from concept to final delivery of a project

• Confident presenting work and design thinking to both teammates and clients

• Excellent time management and the ability to produce outstanding work to a deadline

• Entrepreneurial and proactive, eager to be 100% accountable and to take on responsibility

• A positive, can-do attitude: a desire to push boundaries.
