Overview

As sector specialists the team are experts at driving engagement by designing and bringing to life healthcare communications programs that are informed by insight and data-led strategy. We are inspired by developing communications that improve access and uptake of therapeutic and diagnostic innovations and approaches, linked directly to health outcomes. As an Account Director in the team you will be supporting clients across a varied portfolio of therapy areas. This could range from revolutionary treatments in chronic kidney disease, heart failure, immunology, oncology, hematology, rare diseases or neuroscience.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the day-to-day lead on a portfolio of client accounts. This will involve managing delivery, contributing to strategy and utilising senior counsel.
  • Ensuring a high standard of work and superior client service, always with an eye to driving the satisfaction that supports client retention and growth.
  • Be a trusted advisor. Our clients want thought partnership, which means you need to know their issues as well as they do and offer smart strategic thinking to help them stay ahead of issues impacting their business.
  • Media relations, pitching stories and finding creative angles, maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, media, online influencers and other relevant third-parties.
  • Contributing to the management of client budgets; overseeing the client budget development, tracking, billing and communications
  • Developing new business through networking and lead generation, responding to external briefs and cross-practice identified opportunities, identifying opportunities for organic growth, and leading proposals and pitches.
  • Helping to shape our broader healthcare offering in an enabling environment, where your ideas will really count.
  • Developing integrated campaigns, working with media and digital specialists across the business while leading on activations.
  • Inspiring, mentoring and motivating junior team members to build a highly inclusive, engaged and productive team.
